Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre cares for the environment
According to the environmental legislation the exhibitors are responsible for sorting waste produced by their actions. The exhibitor is also responsible for delivering the waste to its rightful place. The Finnish Fair Corporation is then responsible for recycling the waste in the best possible way.
At the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre we recycle: white paper, coloured paper, cardboard, organic waste, wood, glass, plastic, metal and mixed waste. Also carpets used on the stands are sorted. The ECOCENTRES are the right place for waste produced on the stands. See the enclosed map for the location of the Ecocentres.
During the construction and dismantling hours the Environmental Supervisor is at your service. He gives advice and is there to answer your questions about the waste management.
More information about the waste management and environmental policies can also be obtained from the Hall Manager’s office, the doormen and the team responsible for organizing the event in question.
