Building and maintaining the stand

Construction hours

Construction hours for the stands can be found on the event's Web site and in the notice that is sent to exhibitors. The stand structures must be ready for electrical installations by noon on the last construction day.

Each stand must have its own walls. This means that the walls of a neighbouring stand that border your stand cannot be used, even for attaching posters. Stand structures must not be supported on the neighbouring stand's walls.

Items delivered to the stand

Are you having items delivered to your stand by post? Please remember that if the recipient cannot be reached at the stand, the arrival notice for the shipment will be brought to the Exhibitor Service. The parcel itself will be taken to the post office in Pasila, from which it can be collected upon presentation of the arrival notice. Parcels must always be collected from the post office in person. Letters we will deliver directly to the stands.

If you are using a transportation company, forwarding service, or courier service of your own choice, it is advisable that the recipient be at the stand to sign for the shipment. Finnish Fair Corporation staff cannot sign for shipments. If the recipient cannot be reached, the deliverer might take the shipment back to the depot or leave the items at the stand unsigned for.

You may also order forwarding service from our forwarding agent, Niemi, operating at the Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre, to have the forwarding staff take care of dispatching and signing for shipments.

Stand maintenance hours

The stand can be serviced in the mornings, before the exhibition is open. During other hours, items will be transported to the stands through public entrances. Event-specific maintenance hours, service doors that are open, and public entrances that are in use can be found on the event's Web site.

Driving vehicles in the halls

During the exhibition's construction and dismantling hours, vans and larger transport vehicles may be driven into the exhibition halls. Driving into the hall is allowed only for transporting items. They must be unloaded quickly, and the vehicle must be driven away from the hall immediately. Having motor vehicles running idle in the halls is forbidden.

Passenger cars can be driven in the hall only when the car is used to pull, for example, a trailer. Trolleys are available at hall entrances for moving items to the stands. Driving a car in the hall is not allowed after the last construction day. Check the schedule on the event's Web site.

Please make sure that your organisation's transport vehicles are not parked in the Exhibition & Convention Centre's parking area during the exhibition. This also leaves parking space free for the exhibition guests.
